Louis de Satgé is a Manchester-based musical director, accompanist and singer. Originally from London, Louis graduated from The University of Manchester with a BA in Music and Drama in 2022. A former chorister at Westminster Cathedral, Louis has sung regularly in choirs from a very early age and continues to do so at The Manchester Oratory, while
occasionally performing concerts with Kantos Chamber Choir as well. He has worked with people of all ages, leading and accompanying rehearsals for Youth Organisations such as CYGNETS and MAPAS, and has taught piano and ensemble singing at schools such as Xaverian College and Arden School of Theatre. The Smithy Belles is the second choir Louis
has directed, as he was also conductor of the Warrington Musical Society from September
2024.
